Change of use In all cases a change of use generally requires planning consent and usually approval under the building regulations. There are too many forms of change of use to include here but briefly, we find the most common to include single residence to multi residential (flats) / residential to part commercial (shop/office) together with the requirement to declare change from shop to office or in the retail sector change of defined usage e.g. A1-A2, A3–A5. In all cases I can undertake the required plans and documentation including design and access statements and in required circumstances request approval in the form of a Certificate of Lawfulness or request for consent retrospectively. … . |
